Volunteers
Volunteers make the league work, so please, get involved.  Coaches, umpires and team managers receive league-sponsored training.  Volunteers are placed on the same team as their child.

The league is administered by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of parents of players, just like yourself.  The Board meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month (except November & December) at the Hart Park Pavilion.  Anyone interested is welcomed and encouraged to offer their constructive input on the running of the league.

There are many ways to lend a hand that don’t require you to quit your day job.  Coaches are always happy to have an extra set of hands at practices, especially with the Rookie and World Divisions.  Or, talk to your manager about helping with scorekeeping, publicity, or picnic duties.

Head Coach
In charge of the team on the field.  Coaches attend an orientation before the league draft to get additional information about their job duties.  A coaches training clinic is held after the draft at which they will learn helpful drills and top tips for running an effective practice.

Assistant Coach
Works with players under the Head Coach.  Assistant coaches are also encouraged to attend the Coaches’ Orientation and Training Clinics.

Team Manager
Administrative assistant to the Coach.  Distributes league information including game schedules, uniforms, fund-raising product.  Handles (or delegates) scorekeeping, snack list, and publicity write-ups for the Tosa News Times for his/her team.  A Manager’s Meeting is held prior to the start of Spring Training. Managers receive information to be distributed to their teams as well as fund-raising product.

Umpires
Runs the game on the field.  The home team supplies the umpire behind the plate.  The league strives to assign two umpires to each team so the duties can be shared.  An Umpire Clinic is offered to provide training and to familiarize you with the rules for your division.  The Rookie Division (pitching machine) is a great place to get started!  Umpires also receive league-issued uniform shirts and caps.  Protective equipment is provided.

Publicity
Assists the team manager with game write-ups or helps to collect the game write-ups from each team, type them up and submit them (via email) to the Wauwatosa News Times each week.

Special Events
Lend a hand with Picture Day, Tournament Finals or the Summer Picnic.
